Welcome to Movie Finder UG. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.

1. Use of the Service

You may use Movie Finder UG solely for personal, non‑commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Use the service to facilitate piracy or illegal distribution of copyrighted content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our servers or any connected networks.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our proprietary algorithms.

2. User‑Generated Content

When you upload screenshots or video clips, you retain all rights to that content. You grant Movie Finder UG a limited, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, transmit, and process the uploaded material solely for the purpose of providing the identification service.

3. Intellectual Property

The Movie Finder UG name, logo, UI design, underlying algorithms, and all associated software are the exclusive property of Movie Finder UG. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

3. Third‑Party Services

Our service relies on data from third‑party APIs such as The Movie Database (TMDB) and Watchmode. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an “as‑is” and “as‑available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Movie Finder UG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the service.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Movie Finder UG, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to the new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the service after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
